Lately I have been getting educated on the chakras of the earth. I think it's such an amazing thing to think that we are not so much different than our beautiful planet, Mother Earth. As we have a "body", so does she..as we have "chakras or energy centers", so do we.

As I look at this chart, I see how different areas of the world can resonate with the "themes" of particular chakra centers. For example, the 7th chakra (theme: spirituality connection, how we receive info from our higher selves/The Source), is located in Tibet. If you know anything about the Tibetans, you know that they are very spiritual people and for the most part, a peaceful society. Their spiritual practice is very pronounced there as well - like the theme of the 7th chakra.

I find that this chart is a new way of reconnecting ourselves to our home and personal reflection, Mother Earth. Without her we would not survive. I have found that the more I learn about her chakras and how they reflect my own body/life, the more connected I feel to myself and her.

I am now inspired to blend my chakras with hers in a more intentional manner through my meditation practice. I am excited to see what shifts I sense and feel as I practice this more often. I know, in my heart, that it's time to truly start bringing more of an understanding with how alike we are to our Earth Mother. The more we realize how connected we are to her, I feel that the "safer" we will feel to be in this life and will start to experience joy on new levels.
